BCO Stacie Simmons won a bright blue 2025 Kenworth T-680 last week at the 2024 Landstar BCO Appreciation Days event in Durant, Oklahoma. 

Every year, Landstar hosts its BCO Appreciation Days when the entire network makes an extra special effort to show business capacity owners (BCOs) just how much their dedication to safety and service excellence means to Landstar employees, agents and customers.

The annual BCO Appreciation Days event is two days of networking opportunities, educational presentations, safety meetings, prizes and a vendor expo, where BCOs can talk to companies that offer different services as part of LCAPP – Landstar Contractors’ Advantage Purchasing Program.

Landstar has given away brand-new trucks for more than two decades. What happens in the lives –  and businesses – of the lucky BCOs who drive home with one? We followed up with some recent winners to find out.

Landstar presented its BCO Lifetime Achievement Award to Landstar Three Million Mile Safe Driver and Landstar Roadstar recipient Duane Vorst earlier this month at the 2024 Landstar BCO All-Star Celebration. 

Landstar inducted the newest class of Million Mile Safe Drivers and Roadstar® honorees at the 2024 All-Star Celebration.

The All-Star Truck Giveaway is exclusively reserved for Landstar Million Mile Safe Drivers and Roadstar® honorees – the designation awarded to the “best of the best” for high levels of safety, productivity and excellence in customer service.

Agents participating in Landstar’s Grow Your Star program are reporting they’re more prepared and more motivated to find ways to improve their independent businesses. The program helps agencies reach new goals by providing information, support and mentors to agents through small group, three-day sessions.
