When Landstar agents, fleet owners and owner-operators leased to Landstar, aren’t busy moving freight, they often can be found giving back to their communities or supporting causes.

Since 1995, Landstar has granted over $1 million in scholarships to Landstar BCOs, agents and employees. Occasionally a scholarship recipient will update us on how their education enriched their lives.

In honor of Veterans Day, Landstar is recognizing a few of the independent BCOs who have served our country both in the armed forces and as one of the millions of truck operators who deliver America’s goods.

Landstar System, Inc. is ranked No. 45 on the 2022 Transport Topics Top 50 Global Freight Companies list. The annual list was published by Transport Topics in November.

Each month, deserving BCOs and agents earn Landstar’s Star of Quality Award for the outstanding efforts they make every day. Our thanks and praise to these members of the Landstar network, who represent the best in the freight transportation industry.

Applications for the Landstar Scholarship Fund for the 2023-2024 academic school year are now available. The deadline to apply is March 6, 2023.
