The company ranked among the “Elite 30” of those recognized

Redefining the Road, the official magazine of Women In Trucking (WIT), has honored Landstar System, Inc. as an “Elite 30” for this year’s “Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation” award.

Of the 134 companies recognized for their commitment to excellence and inclusivity in the transportation industry, Landstar ranked among the top 30 organizations which gained the highest number of votes. 
To qualify for the award, companies were required to meet several key criteria, showcasing their dedication to creating supportive and empowering environments for women in trucking, including:

• Corporate cultures that foster gender diversity
• Competitive compensation and benefits
• Flexible hours and work requirements
• Professional development opportunities
• Career advancement opportunities

According to the publication, a record number of more than 31,000 industry professionals cast votes prior to the May 10, 2024 deadline.

“Companies named to this prestigious list must demonstrate corporate attributes that are essential to any successful enterprise committed to gender diversity as part of their corporate strategy,” said Brian Everett, publisher of Redefining the Road. “Qualifying companies entails a two-step process. First, nominations by companies are carefully reviewed to ensure they meet a minimum threshold of qualifications. Then, the final ballot of companies is voted on by individuals in the industry.”
