Landstar System, Inc., a worldwide, asset-light provider of integrated transportation management solutions delivering safe, specialized transportation logistics services, is proud to announce that Landstar has once again been recognized by Inbound Logistics magazine as a Top 100 3PL. This is the 14th year Landstar is on the prestigious list acknowledging 3PL excellence. Landstar was also recognized by Inbound Logistics with a Readers’ Choice: Top 10 3PL Excellence Award.

“Every year, leading third-party logistics providers of all shapes and sizes submit their credentials, hoping to match their solutions with our readers’ business logistics needs. It remains an increasingly difficult task for the Inbound Logistics editorial team to narrow down the list to only 100 top 3PL providers. Landstar was selected as a Top 100 3PL Provider because its solutions solve specific logistics challenges, improve processes, and create a ripple effect of efficiencies for our readers across their entire value chain,” said Inbound Logistics Editor Felicia Stratton.

Inbound Logistics editors select the best logistics solutions providers by carefully evaluating submitted information, conducting personal interviews and online research and comparing that data against their readers’ global supply chain and logistics challeneges. Inbound Logistics editors selected this year’s Top 100 3PLs from a pool of more than 300 companies. The service providers selected in the 2016 list are companies that, in the opinion of the magazine’s editors, offer the diverse operational capabilities and experience to meet readers’ unique supply chain and logistics needs.

“We are honored once again to be recognized by Inbound Logistics with a Readers’ Choice: Top 10 3PL Excellence Award 2016. Our continued recognition by our customers and Inbound Logistics as a top 3PL provider is confirmation of Landstar’s ability to provide the best in transportation solutions,” said Landstar President and CEO Jim Gattoni. “Landstar’s unique business model, combined with our extensive available capacity, allows us to provide our customers with safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation management solutions, with just one call.”
